Any new muds or new developments in muds can be found in this forum. If it's not in there, it's not worth your time.

For a good BBS with an accelerated xp rate (around 8x, but sysop has already stated that will probably be lowered a little once a good number of players are on) and money drop, as well as custom areas/bosses/weapons being designed for high levels, try:

Free and fun. I know the sysop personally, he is serious about it and devoting a good amount of time to it.

Sysop gives 25 runic to all new users currently. There are also no level restrictions on items. This gives a good boost for new players and the low levels, but doesn't devalue the rares becuase you still have to GO GET THEM, kill the bosses, etc, and sysop does NOT help with that at all. He has 1 God character which assists in rescue operations from time to time, and will usually help out with a retrain once per character, but never does any killing or editing/summoning/cheating.
He has regular polls asking what mods people want, the board only came up about a week ago, so far the thing I know that was changed is the theif class now has combat 3 ("average"), up from its previous combat 2 ("fair").
He is also working on a new city, complete with trainers for all levels, shops, a gladiator arena, and nifty drops for high levels, of which there are none yet. Get on while the getting is good!
