what causes this i keep getting it when i try to delete it it says its used by another process and i can't delete it. but no wg is running. i need to know what cause that error tho so i can fix it

usually it's caused by the board terminating abnormaly. in your case wg isn't terminating completely and leaving a lock on the file as well. check your running tasks and see if wgserver.exe or wgsinit.exe are running and end-task them if so.

Close...it's a weird named file that I can never get right..W32KMD.exe or something..it has those letters in it though...laugh. Whenever WG closes wrongly, as in not shut down, that program is still running..just end task it then you can delete the file. You'll also notice that you can't copy/paste game dat's while that program is running as well..if I had the patience to load up wg again, I'd tell you exactly what it is..

w32mkde.exe is the btrieve engine executable. it never terminates exactly when the board closes, even on a normal shutdown. if you watch your task manager it usually takes about 10-30 seconds to close out after shutting down wg. it's just a lag period that it waits for after the last application is done w/it to see if any more calls are to be made.

Mine never closes unless I shut WG down the right way..I've come back 3 hours after WG crashed and tried to send files to someone and couldn't because it was still running..

Then again my whole setup is a piece of shit and my WG and Mud change settings by themselves so I wouldn't be surprised if it's only a problem I have..
