Depending on where you script, -all- combat changes. Your crits are dependant on your accuracy and everything, which is dependant on the mob. Accuracy changes, crit% changes. It's a constant variable, but the outcome varies depending on the mob you are fighting.

crit% = crits/crits+hits * 100%

mega uses the wrong formula because its outdated and you shouldnt base it off that

crits do depend on where you script. if you have a level 5 ninja scripting at orc mansion for 1 hour and then move him to cave worm regen for 1 hour, he'd crit a LOT more at at the cave worm...

duh :P

Deca - crits DO depend on where you script..Speed was right.

He's right when he refers to the formula, crits are a constant variable. I just think he's not realizing that the formula is based on other formulas, and the outcome of those formulas change based on what you are killing. You aren't going to crit the same on orc rogues as you would the phoenix.

We used to give formula to our son when he was a baby, he liked it alot, as a matter of fact he liked it so much, he grew up to become bigger than he was as a baby.

Lesson: Formulae are fed to people who dont know the process, but can see the outcomes.

Thats a damn good question! How can somebody get a lvl 50 ninja and NOT know what to wear? Can you say "hardly any time atk"?

in the context of our conversation i am definitely right. im saying crits are more imporant than max damage for big damage weapons. regardless of how much you hit on a monsters ac your crit percent is a constant. damage is scaled only on a monsters ac, not some sort of crit reducing power of a monster. if you hit 20% in one area and 100% in another, and you have 50% crits, youre going to crit for 50% of your hits, regarless of mega showin 10% in the first scenario and 50% in the next. that is why crit gear is imporant over max damage shit for these big weapons, to get the 2x-4x max damage hits in more often, regardless of how often you hit. platinum and ray, youre wrong, you are going to crit the same % against orc rogues and the phoenix. im not sure what your argument has to do with the conversation anyway, sash definitely owns the golden belt if your using nexus spear or smga.

you're absolutely wrong deca. When you hit less, you have less of a chance to crit. Remember, you have to hit now before you can crit. So you will not crit anywhere near as much against the dp than orc rogues. You'll see more crits, only because you hit hte DP more than you do an orc rogue at higher lvls. This doesn't mean you crit more against higher ac/hp monsters though. That's absolutely flawed logic.
