No, neither of those Southern =( but close, it looked alot like the first one. Mudlist, I looked for LORE on the web and all I could find was stuff for newer games. Legends of Lore and Lands of Lore and stuff.....I have a feeling that if the game I'm looking for is still out there, it's buried so ...

I just looked at some of the screenshots for lord 2....ok now imagine that, but the trees are ¥ symbols, the grass is like green ô or something, and the roads are brown ô, then the mountains are some grey symbol. I think the character is a golden £

Ok man I've been looking for this game for over a year now and I cant find it. This is what I remember about it:

It was ASCII using characters and symbols to draw the map you were on (imagine Zelda 1 for NES but with ASCII instead of graphics ...

Its got viruses in it. Don't download it. Scanned it after downloading and found trojan.

I been playing on deathblow for a couple of weeks now, and I'd have to completely agree. It's one of the only BBS's that I would spend my time on. Definate 3 thumbs up for DeathBlow.
