mine had the 4.3 vortec and it was a really solid engine for sure it took a lot

i used to own a 92 s-10 with a 4.3 v6, i also owned a chevy cavalier z24 with the 2.8 v6 multiport it was an 89 so i believe its probably the same engine if so watch cause they have problems with throwing rods a lot from what i hear... one day i went outside to start it and it was about 5 degrees ...
