ok 3 days back in time did the trick, its not crashing anymore.



Suggestion to all: KEEP BACKUPS!!!

It's still crashing, I restored backups from 1 day then 2 days back. Going to try 3 days. If this doesn't work, what can I do? reset the realm?

I ran wgsridx but it didn't do anything. When i started up my board, it emailed me a lot of mail that i thought i deleted. wierd. lets see if the crash happens again.



I've checked the audit trail to see who's been logging on and causing the crash but i have to investigate the time between their ...

I have a multimud bbs. The two modules are 1)supermud 2)majormud.



Supermud has no problems. However, in majormud, a user/hacker keeps doing something that causes a btrieve error in the file wccuser.dat. This crashes my board and it does not automatically come back up.

If one of my users uses the bard's quest cloak ability in mud it crashes the entire board. It happens when he types use companion.



Any ideas?

reinstall windows xp. do a fresh install but don't format a new partition.. leave it as is. This will leave all the files on your computer. Then install wg server and all your applications.



try this step first and if it doesn't work do it after you've done above... mainly after you've installed ...

take them to court and get your money back
