Original XBOX game support (http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=24e8786e-0c1a-4afc-9738-76f4f6cce1ef&DisplayLang=en) enables your Xbox 360™ video game console to play an array of games from your original Xbox video game console. A list of games that are currently backward compatible is available here and we will continue to add support for additional games over time.

wow, i just thought it would be backward compatible off the shelf.
Has anyone done this? Do the old xbox games look better on the 360? Do those old games play in HD?

I doubt they'll look any better seeing as how thje games were coded for the graphics accelerator of the classic XBOX.
