difference between regular export and export to MMUD explorer

Is there a difference in the 2 files, say the first is a complete export of EVERYTHING in my mud, the second is a complete export to MMUD explorer. Is there a difference?

Reason I am asking this is I tried to import stuff from a MMUD explorer file, and some stuff looks corrupted in some rooms. I am wondering if it was just a bad import, or if your not suppose to import from MMUD explorer files.

they aren't compatible at all. as deathcow said in the other thread, the MME database doesn't have all the fields that a NMR one does. this is was done

for a few reasons. one was to conserve file size. the other big one was to prevent people from importing MME exports and "stealing" edits quick and easy.

AHA! So this is why my map 15 is now completely FUBAR eh? Gosh darn it all to hell, you know, I didnt know that :(

I assumed that the same extension .MBD meant they were the same :(

Crap, now what do I do? Is there a way I can extract the wccmp002.dat from the wccmmud.z or whatever file, without installing mud again? Then I can just export, then import map 15 back. Come on your the mud genius! :P

Only reason I knew is because I work with Microsoft Access sometimes. I hate that program.
