Most on here with talk crap about the sysop but that is ok.

Have never had one problem on this board. SYSOP and MUDOP are SUPER friendly. Only probs i notice is when people from here log on to start trouble.

You picked a really bad time to pull a stunt on there though. With the people here that were trying to pull crap, he didnt feel like putting up with it.(Can't blame the guy) Send him an email and see if he will let you back on.(If you want to play there anyways)

The board has no balance. Theres no challenge. Its fun if you like to script and just chat, but not if you want to actually play a game.

That's because Gerry has given them well reason to do so. Gerry has lost a lot of respect in the mudding community, not only because he lets his anger get the better of him, but also because he is constantly emulating and moving and/or doing other things with users accounts. This breaks the very fine line of trust that is between a sysop and his users.

Again, this is a very biased comment, and you must really not have been on the board very long to have this viewpoint. Now of course, given that Gerry can be a very good guy. He plays on my board and has yet to cause a problem again (after being banned twice for various reasons).

The only people who I have noted to cause 'trouble' on DD's board are those that he has messed with or offended in some way. A user, who I am sure you know well Sirknight, started causing a headache because Gerry had begun emulating him when the user started scripting in his 'fair area that everyone is welcome to go to'. Gerry emulated and moved the player out of his area. Not to mention the times that Gerry has emulated accounts to find out their locale, what they are doing, among many other instances.[/QUOTE]

Now... Things could possibly have changed for quite the better since last time I played on Gerry's board... but if I recall correctly, no one should need help on it. Especially when they can go to a monster that is worth 50-150k and is instant regen, such as the ones in his 'heartbreak hotel'. I recall averaging around 20mill an hour there not terribly long ago, and that was with 4 other users scripting the exact same room.



I, personally, would enjoy seeing a post from one of Gerry's 'sysops' entailing the 'balancing' that has gone on in this realm. Seeing that White Dragon has been known for years to be the most unbalanced, unfair, unrealistic mud within the MMB community.



Now please, don't take this post as a flame towards Gerry... I am just trying to point out the obvious, and receive some positive feedback about the board from a user besides yourself... Since you have been the only one I have seen posting thread after thread bragging about how great this board is.



So please... Enlighten me... How has it changed? How does he not cheat anymore? How is the game more fair and balanced for other characters that log on?



I would sincerely appreciate, as I am sure others would.

Never once said anything about it being balanced. The weapons hit hard and the monsters are worth outrageous exp. If that isnt your kinda thing than more power to ya. Have never noticed my characters being f'ed with at all. Have never had 1 problem on there in the 2 months i have been there otjer than like i have already stated, people from here loggin on and talkin smack(hence the now validation required).



They are actually worken on most of the monsters to give them more hp's and better a/c to make up for the hard hitting weapons. Which they are also lowering the stats on most weapons.



And as far as helping, i was mainly talkin about cash. It's always nice to log on a board and get 20-30 runic right off the bat. That way you dont have to worry about getting the armour and weapons that you need right away. Just makes the game easier. I personally don't like starting off searching for cash and shit to sell. That's just me and you are probably different, which is cool. There are 2 types of players, those who like to work for it and those who like it easy. Well, i cant help it i am EASY. :tounge:



Now if i am on a board that doesnt have those type of people who offer cash and power leveling than i generally work for it. Like i am now on a different board.

SirKnight Have you ever stopped to wonder why I harass Gerry as much as I do.



Partly I do it, because it's fun to see him blow a gasket over tiny shit.



I use to play on his board, hell he's ever invited me back. I wont play on his board, because Gerry cheats, if he's got a bug up his ass about you, he'll pull random stupid shit, while your playing, make your account move random places, get you killed, all sorts of bullshit.



Gerry started giving me a bad time, because I called him on his bullshit, and I gossiped it, to let everyone know that he a fucking idiot sometimes. Then Gerry thought it would be really fun, to give my accounts away "to deserving people" his people were the figments of his imagination.



Last I have little or no respect for anyone who hasn't got the brains to build their own board. Gerry was given the base from Samcc and was asked to change it and make it his own, Gerry couldn't be bothered, he's left it and exact duplicate, except that WDBBS is easier.



Gerry warrents the abuse given to him on every forum he's been on, generally because he doesn't take the hints, he feels it's his god given right to bash people when ever, and where ever he likes regardless of the post.



However for the benefit of doubt, I unbanned him on http://lunardynamics.dyndns.org/forums/index.php? but even there he only has ONE chance, if he screws that up, he's on perma-ban.
