I was looking at different bikes...



I think the Yamaha R6, what does everyone else think?

I suggest the Yamaha R1.

I have been searching for a bike too and I end up with the dilema between R6 & R1.

The advantages are that the R1 ( in comparison to the R6) is

- closer to the road, so has better grip

- the line is fuller

- R1 has more muscle in HP

- acceleration is as efficient in 6th gear as R6 in a much lower gear, so no problem to handle a stress situation.

- additional options (dealer affective)



and more...

But these are the major advantages of the R1 of yamaha compared to the R6.



Note: You have to be a slightly experienced rider if you want to handle the power of the R1.
