Is it possible to change a worldgroup users userid, NOT the mud name but the one worldgroup uses?

Yes I am aware of the Phoenix name changer, which seems to have possibly entered the considered gone, as emails go unanswered about it.

Yes yadda yadda yadda email might disappear, and all that stuff but who cares about email it is a MUD board! :)

there is a program called avd rename that works well for that, however you would have to hex-edit the new user ID to the mud character. I don't believe nmr has an option to edit the user-id field to match the mud name with it. Correct me if I am wrong here syn maybe I have overlooked it.

on the user editor you can copy a mud character to a new user-id and mud name and then delete the old one.

But!!! It's a WG 2.0 DOS board, so Redux is a no go.

Do not see avd rename on any google search, perhaps it is

on Worldgoups software site, somewhere, but can't find it there.

I think I'm going to have to learn how to hex edit Worldgroup.

Any clues or pointers would be appreciated, as I'm kind of in a world

of my own with DOS here.
