Does anyone know when this might be coming out. I heard they were to start production either this year or next. I know that it is suppose to have a huge budget... but who might be in it or when it might come out.. I have no idea.. anyone wanna clue me in?

there's going to be a movie of this? These books were one of my favorites that I read as a kid...

Wow, thats sweet, I also remember reading them as a kid. Im definatly interested in seeing it if it comes to the theaters, or to IRC ;)

My friend in LA is the Production Assistant on that movie, and they are still casting last i heard, but it was supposed to be Nicole Kidman as the White Witch and Ewan Mcgregor ( spelling sucks ) as the has goat half man guy,,,,,,, he is supposed to sent me a copy of the script so any interested, let me know, i'm sure i can work something out, but it probably won't be the finalized version of the script....

Hell yeah... I first read about them making this movie like a year.. a year and a half ago. And I totally flipped, cause I really loved those books growing up. I was curious as to who would play these characters.. as I believe it would be hard to cast. I hadn't heard anything else about it since then, because at that point it was just in the concept phase. I hope it is as good as I see it in my mind!

i remember reading it too, but i don't think it will be that good as a movie... it's more of a kid's book. it'll turn out to be a flop like harry poooter

Ok, I started this thread over a year and a half ago.... and I have to say I was completed disappointed by the movie. Raydbomb called it... it totally freaking flopped. But Harry Potter did not flop, it makes more and more money everyday... and is growing a wider and wider audience. It is sad to remember how excited I was to hear that this movie was bring made.. cause it turned out to be just O.K.

I thought is was pretty good...I bought it. Wait I buy almost every movie that ranks ok and better in my book :)
