*spoilers*

I was all hyped up to see this movie and i thought it was a let down. They built up all this hype about the beasts in the forest when there never were any. I understand the reasoning for the "elders" to make them up in order to keep their little town secret and not have anyone want to leave. However, to build up all this crap about the "borders being broken," the livestock being skinned, the paint on the doors, the no "red" aka bad colors anywhere in the town as to not attract them ... it just all looked like it was going to be really cool and Lucious was going to take these f'ers on or some crap. Then to have it all torn apart by the knowledge that it was made up was just stupid.

some of my friends were trying to convince me it was cool because the walker guy put them in this town and made everyone believe it was the 1800s when it was really present day. but i still fail to see that point. having those people know the date of the present day wouldn't effect them at all because they just want to be happy in their own little world. the whole damn movie was about those beasts and trying to keep them away, then at the end they tell you it's not. :thumbd:

Necroposter! I didnt like the village but signs still scares the crap out of me. I watched it the other night in the dark by myself and it was wicked with the surround sound and my big tv.

Sad the only comfort I got was the fact that my dog wasnt barking.

The worst part about signs was near the beginning when the little girl says there is a monster out her window and mel gibson comes to put her back in bed and then he casually looks up and the alien is standing ontop of his barn looking in at them.

Thats freaky because I live in the country and its relative. When it gets dark around here it gets dark. No city lights with thier glow its just you and the stars.
