I seem to notice that people seem to bash boards just because they can.

If you dont like a board, why are you playing there?

If your not playing on there, what gives you the right to bash it?



Why must we all bash someones work? Is it because we're jelous, or is it because we're so inferiour that we must bash it just because.



We all bitch about Miles, Moo, Artic, and me (Pantharen) because they're assholes, and always give some lame bullshit reason to bash them. But we always seem to bash them in the wrong area, usually ends up in someone's post promoting that board. We have this area to bash people: http://www.forumshq.com/forumdisplay.php?f=65

I'm not going to critisize anyone, because I am guilty of doing the same as I have posted in here.

Miles need to be removed from that list... He was the one that started a bashing of other sysops' work... then proceded to bash on a persons' character (meaning the actual status of a person in common society) and he was told... So no bashing on someone edits... but rather on the persons' character and attitude towards the world. Miles will always be a hated person on these forums for what he did and said to many of the people here. Regardless if the words are type or said allowed, his actions of attacking a persons' character could have caused him quite a bit of problems, but those that he attacked decided that he was just a tiny morsell in a box of useless shit and not to seek legal advice.



Moo? Nah, he's not an asshole... every board should have a moo on it.. he brings a whole lotta fun shit to deal with to a board. :) Therefore he will always have access to my board, we are friends and I intend on keeping it this way. If you can get past the thick bullshit with him, he's a rather "unique" kinda person.

Your missing my point, regardless of, what your doing, you should bash in another person post. You want to bash, go use the hall of flames.

God fucking dammit. I just typed out like a 5 page response only to get the fucking server busy bullshit. The only board to bash now is MMB. Fucking hell.



Anyway, the quick version of my post:



* BBS Posts are there as information to users. As a user, I want to know if anyone has a problem with a board, and why. It helps me choose where to go. If the sysop acts like a child, I want to know about it. Consider it Consumer Reports for mud realms. Putting these posts in a whole other forum is rediculous - it's rather material to the point of the original post. It's the retort.



* There's a difference between bashing someone/someone's work and flaming them. Bashing usually involves having a basis of argument - e.g. (from above) the sysop acts like a child. If he's prone to sys lightning people, I want to know about it.



* WarHawk: you need to go back and read up on character, libel, and slander. To paraphrase Inigo Montoya, I don't think they mean what you think they mean. You don't have instantly have grounds for legal action against someone if they call you a pussy or say your board is a piece of shit because you have no idea how to edit.

is there anyone (excluding khaled) who actually thinks the porn forum should remain on vbulletin? seriously now, if you're so dumb you can't find free porn on the web you're so dumb you can't log on to mmb, most likely. it's annoying as hell to see that message all the time and know that you're getting it cause some jackoff can't be bothered finding real free porn, when there's thousands of sites with porn out there. i've looked at the userbase on the porn forum here vs the actual content forums, and there are almost as many idiots using the board for porn as everything else, wtf is up with that? i sure wish the admins would listen, but they probably get ad revenue somehow, either that or they have brains the size of chickpeas.
