I did it all! [Archive] - ForumsHQ

A long, long time ago....
I used to use Hex Workshop to do all my editing, but now is a time of change, when any wannabe sysop can just download the game and bbs software, then download Nightmare and do whatever the #### they wanted to.
Back in the day, I used a SDK to add my custom items, monsters, rooms, races, etc.
Back in the day, I was known by everyone who even thought about editing their game. Now, nobody remembers me, after only a few months I am now completely obselete.
And this leads to this post...I am conceding to Nightmare, it is a much better program than Chronic, or MMEDIT, and is much faster than any sysop with Hex Workshop. Although it has some problems, and I have given many good ideas to Donut on changes that it really needs, I don't think that hexing will ever be what it once was.
And because of that, I do think that this will be the only post in this forum, only because nobody who edits their BBS even knows how to use a hex editor, let alone read hexcode.
Thank you for taking the time to read this, I will check back in a week to see if anyone has posted anything in this forum, and until posts and members become more numerous, I will not be checking here as much as I used to.
