the question most people ask is the opposite of this question. are you trying to increase the number of channels perhaps? if have you installed control and some how accidentally enabled the connections per IP setting? control is the only way to limit connections.

No, my BBS won't let any more than 2 telnet connections at a time.. ex: I was telnetted and my friend was telnetted into my bbs playing majormud.. then I told another friend to sign up and join in but the bbs says "there are already 2 active telnet connections online cannot login" or something

then it's not connections "Per IP" like you said. it's total connections. so again, like I said, raise the number of channels. go to start --> programs --> worldgroup server --> utilities --> hardware setup --> core hardware setup --> channel group #1 --> number of channels --> 255 --> save.
