I shed tears today for the first time since the death of Johnny Cash. Regan was a great and powerful man. He'll be truly missed. Peace

He was a great man, president and friend. My family has history with him when he was heavily into horses... I also met him in his Century City office building in Los Angeles. My 4th grade teacher from elementary school donated the land for his Library to be built in the hills of Simi Valley.



He will be greatly missed.

IIRC he actually said that prior to making a speech and it got caught on audio tape. So don't "........", in addition to being a good leader he also had a sense of humor. =)

Its missing my favorite parts--the moving story he told during his presidential campaign about storming Normandy on D-day, but forgetting to mention that it was in a 1950s movie and not reality, and his role in blacklisting "communists" for McCarthy while he was president of the Screenactors Guild.



That guy was hilarious, if you're into dark comedy.
