So I was browsing the forums at random just killing time and I stumbled upon mention of something called 'control' that can limit the number of connections per IP. I did a search of the forums and came up with nothing useful, save for the fact that the version you can (or could in the past) download from morbidbbs did NOT have this ability.



Anyone know of where I can pick up a copy of 'control' so I can make use of these infinately valuable feature?

Nope, sorry we don't offer downloads here.. you might consider tryin the makers of the software (dialsoft I believe) and download a demo from there

yea dialsoft control does have an option to log IP to a user's account field. it also has an option to check for duplicate entries of that field, or any other field you put in

No Dialsoft does not make WG, Galacticomm makes WG

Hrm...then why is a bunch of WG stuff listed on their site? they just a distributor or what?

metropolis may have bought up all the companies that made products for WG
