Gnome druid, normally see in the dark you would think. this is odd it's happened to me and other ppl several times.

open s

The door is now open.

s

Cheech casts blur on Cheech!

Treasure Room

You notice alder chest here.

Obvious exits: open door north

The room is barely visible

Cheech walks into the room from the north.

par

The following people are in your travel party:

CrazyWolf Whatever (Mystic) [K: 97%] [H:100%] - Frontrank

Cheech UpInSmoke (Mage) [M: 77%] [H:100%] - Frontrank

Beowolf DemonSlayer (Druid) [M:100%] [H:100%] - Frontrank

sea

The room is very dark - you can't see anything

Notice I was able to walk in seeing the room , but yet i could not do anything for the darkness that loomed ahead. I was able to cast star to see. But this is strange, I have never seen this before. Ideas? Clues? Why does this happen?

I dont see how that makes a diff unless yet again metro is so effin stupid its bugged?? There are no uses in the robes and show no additional powers other then shadow form. They have no abilities or uses. This occures at random and in various places. If it is in fact the robes as you say(another party member has them on). Perhaps I could see the person wearing the robes, but why random ppl in the party. Mind you it isnt the whole party, it isnt the person wearing the robes, but its someone else in the room. One person goes dark, the rest are not. Why and how does this happen, I see nothing that would make it do that other then metros sheer ignorance and stupidity.

sounds like a metro bug. maybe post it on the mudcentral forums so they know about it.

i think the point jedi was trying to make is that the black embroidered robes do indeed have extra abilities, such as the +10 hpregen and +10 mregen... and, of course, the +75 illu and -50 roomillu.
