One more question I have... I have WG 3.30 and I used my activation code and when I start it up it says that it is running in demonstration mode. Did I do something wrong? Any info is great. I also have 3.20 etc. If I have a bad copy of the software could you PM me with a link to get the appropriate software please. Thank you...

Uninstall/Reinstall software. During setup enter in the registration code making sure to use all CAPS. If it doesn't run right contact the software vendor and tell them they gave you a bad registration code.

I have followed Demonics tutorial on setting up etc. I got the WG# and all that is taken care of. I then input my server activation code and it took it during install. I am able to change the max users to 255 etc. That is not the issue. The issue I am having is when I bring up the server in the audit trail it says that it is running in demonstration mode. How do I fix this (so it dosnt show this) or is this normal.. ??



Note: same issue with 3.20 and 3.30 both where dl from a site that is used all the time by the users of this board. (http://MUD_ _ _ _ _ _._ _ S.IT) so I think the files are good... Thanks again....

To fix this enter your activation code in Wg's Security and Accounting under Core S&A ACTCOD: Server Activation Code. Include dashes. If it still comes up as demo your code is invalid. Do not link to sites with illegal/questionable content here, it is against the rules.

I figured it out. The activation code was wrong because the guy at GCOM I was dealing with had a bad keygen program that was giving out bad codes so he went to his co-workers box and supplied me with one that works. :) thank you...
