Ok.. I'm looking to put together a well thought out, well put together realm for everyone to enjoy. I'm looking to see what everone thinks makes a good realm, I hope to get as many responces as possible, and I hope to please as many people as possible, but I already know I won't be able to please EVERYONE, its just not possible. :P



I would also like to gauge interest in a live realm? Maybe a realm that is live between a certain time period? PVP? Non-PVP? Sys Powers? What does everyone like. I would love to run a Live/Semi-Live realm if the interest is there.

Xeeg mentioned something about doing a live realm in another thread..the two of you could colaborate. A guy named Gimli signed onto my board today asking if I knew of any live muds, and said he used to play on Xeeg's..if I ever see him again I'll tell him to watch this thread ;)

Many factors are involved in making a good realm. Nice edits and fancy ANSI dont always make a great system. Alot has to do with live players, as people like the social interaction that a MUD has to offer. ANother is the fact that your staff have to be on-hand at almost all times to help that n00bie out or assist on a deathpile run. Hey invis..your BBS ok? I've tried to log on like 10 times in the past week or two and couldnt connect even once...it's letting me right now, but I thought maybe your board when down unannounced..was worried..and you aren't easy to get ahold of, either..heh.

i know a few people that i have played on live muds with. and most of them im sure would be on a bbs if it opened and was a live realm. i know i would. As for my interests in bbs's it is live, times 5-10 on exp, drop rate up'd a bit, lims times something like 2-3, uhmm thats about it that i can think of atm leave me posted if you are opening a live mud i would like to get started opening day. --Karn

Thanks for the copncern Platinum, were up and going ok. I've had to take it down a few times to update Windows 2003 Server but its all good now. As for you being on, what do you go by?
