Due to some unavoidable circumstances, MorbidBBS will be shutdown on March 25th, 2004. We are hoping it will only be a temporary shutdown while the server is relocated as we want to keep the BBS running. We have no idea on the amount of time that it may be down. It could be a few days, a month, or never again. When and if it does come back up, there WILL NOT be a reset unless it's a lengthy amount of time (3+ months).



With that said ... what do we want to do in the interim? There is a BBS Poll going where you can choose the following:





Make a backup of the realm on 03/19/2004 and turn the board into a PVP realm for the last week.*

Let the bbs run normally until we shutdown.





*note: the pvp realm will be like 20x exp, 1 hour boss regen times, 100% item drops ... something to that effect just to screw around.

Just a little background on why we are having to shut down bbs. This past week I had my baby stolen from my apartment . So I am moving soon, I have set my cable to be shut off on the 25th. Once I find a new place I will then decide wether I am going to set up high speed again.



Sorry for the down time.....but shit happens. I am not going to go by another 11,000 dollar bike and park it where I live now.

Decide wether you'll get high speed again?



This may just be me..but after the first time my family got high speed, I will never EVER go back to dial-up, EVER again, I don't give a damn how cheap it is..I'm sure a lot of people would agree;)



Having said that, Xetox I'm sorry to hear about your bike. I know how you are about that kinda shit..I hope you get moved and get Morbid back online again, the hex community just isn't the same unless we know Morbid is around.

Plat is not the fact that I dont want it back....I get dial up free through work, and the would even prolly pay for half my high speed bill if I asked. I am not sure if high speed will be offered where I am moving. I am moving back to the sticks.....this city living can kiss my ass!

Well I hope they have some sort of high speed out there. Living in the city can be annoying tho. Any word on if they found your bike or do they have any leads on who might of taken it?
