I don't usually "appreciate" start-up help as offered by the "Resident Deity" Thor (25 Runic, a weapon and some armour), but the helpfulness and friendliness of everyone on the board warrants some praise. As soon as I had appeared in NewHaven Thor was standing in the room ready to welcome me and offer what help he could. Every user (not many, but I know MMB users can make up for that) when he/she came to keys welcomed me and offered help on quests. Having only about 12 active players, there is plenty of room for others to come in and make the realm nice and lively. I know I saw Zan and Surge pop in last night, and I'm sure they'll agree that the Op and the users are some of the friendliest folks I've had the pleasure of playing on a board with. I haven't leveled enough to really know if there are many edits, but as posted in the advertisement there are plans to expand the realm for higher-level characters to XP. The xp multiplier is 8x (I believe), so level advancement comes quickly, and the #10 player (was me - Dmon - last night) only has about 2 million xp. If you're looking for a fairly fresh and friendly realm, I'm sure Thor will welcome all comers.

The first part of the Valhalla area add-on Thor was planning is in the game, and frankly, looks great. The edits are clean, complete, working, and unique. Portal systems require special commands, which you learn talking to the Valkyrie, an NPC with textblocks set up prettier than other NPC's on the unedited side. Seriously, I think more folks should really check it out. There are no sys commands, which is kind of a downer to most of us (including me), but it puts a little of the old feel back into the game, when playing by hand was popular.

I didn't get a weapon or armor, but I got the 25 runic which kinda made up for both.. ;)

Definately one of the friendliest boards ive logged onto in ages and there were even people at keys when it was normal time for me (australian time) who were helpfull when the usual questions were asked. The edits may still be at an early stage but yeah, as was said previously, text blocks are artwork, the theory behind it all is unique and the future looks promising!



The sysop also seems to be open to suggestions etc and has started 2 polls re: dupes and pvp related settings.
