here's the problem i have with the good mr. sandler: he uses the same jokes in every single one of his movies. for instance, take mr. deeds, waterboy, big daddy, happy gilmore, and 50 first dates, even though i haven't seen it. the basic plot is the same: regular, slightly dumb, slightly different guy, with violent tendancies, and sometimes a strange voice, has something bad happen to him. after the bad thing happens, he shows the entire audience that the problem can be solved using his violent tendancies/different attitude, and in the end he is rich, both in money and love, as he gets the girl.



through the same script in every movie he writes in a bottle with his recycled jew voice and obnoxious yelling voice, throw in a pinch of he can never say anything funny, shake it up well, and all you have left is a steaming pile of dog feces.

NO SHIT; I haven't seen a Sandler movie that I actually paid money to see (usually download them) Sandler just isn't worth spending money on. Hell Tom Green is funnier than Sandler (and Green is an asshole)

it's all a matter of opinion. you could say this about 99% of the cartoons we all grew up on. wylie coyote and the road runner ring a bell? whether or not the movie is written around the same thing, it's still different and it's still something to enjoy on a sunday afternoon. you could also say the same thing about Jim Carrey and number of other actors. Everyone has their own opinion, and no one is neccessarily wrong. personally i like a deep movie like Hannibal and Red Dragon, but i can watch anything and enjoy it (i own about 300 DVDs ranging from lion king to train spotting to hannibal).



p.s. i own big daddy, happy gilmore (this movie never gets old for some reason), billy madison (least favorite), and bulletproof.

bulletproof was fairly original for sandler, so i'll give that to ya.



and yes, adam sandler is a matter of opinion. and mine is he sucks at acting. take a comedy actor like owen wilson or vince vaughn, and you have a guy that's funny. adam sandler is b-list.

owen wilson is pretty funny heh..so is chris tucker..
