I Sent the following E-Mail to ABIT, so ill be waiting for a response from them, but i felt in the meantime i might see if anyone here has run across this particular problem in the past and might have any advice to help me out.
Recently i purchased an ABIT nforce2 NF7-S V2 board. I went thru installing all the drivers and software from the CD and everything runs great.....except that certain pieces of bundled software wont load; namely OC Guru and Fan EQ. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the software as well as trying to do a repair on it. It looks like it starts to load, but when i check under my Process tab in task manager it just vanishes and does nothing. The same with FAN EQ as well. Im a bit new to how the nForce boards work and have been unsuccessful in finding a solution on the web, could you possibly give me a little insight as to how i could possibly fix this situation? Black Box, ABIT EQ and Flash Menu work fine. Thanks in advance.
Regards
Stu
P.S. My system specs are as follows:
ABIT NF7-S Version 2.0, BIOS Revision on it is 12/01/03 (nVidia-nForce-6A61BA1BC-21), running Windows XP Professional with Service Pack 1.
AMD XP 2400+ (Throughbred core)
512 megs Corsair XMS PC2700 DDR RAM
ATI Radeon 8500
350watt Antec Power Supply
(1) Western Digital 100gig Drive
(1) Maxtor 80 gig Drive
