Why do Sysops play their own Realms? It just ruins them. If your going to be stupid and cheat, why not make the BBS private so that it's fair for other users and they can quit wasting time. I've seen lot's of good realms get ruined by idiot sysops. It's just plain dumb.. For what, The Power trip? Feeling Special? Is it because you SUCK at Legit Muds, Or any Muds for that reason? Never been in 1st on the top 10? What's so fun about ruining everyone elses time? If you want a major erection, edit yourself a char on YOUR OWN REALM, By YOURSELF. Lamers. C'mon. It's fukn Gay, Think about it.



"My BBS Went Private" ... Is this because you arent accepting new users and your BBS is getting to big? Probly not.. , or is a weak attempt at preventing users from finding out a what a cheater you are, and don't want to here more griping. I could understand, I mean You've already tricked all your pals into letting you cheat, and you probably cheat with them.. So why ruin the fun right? Good. Stay where you are, Never come out of your "private" place.

Oh, and as far as "SinisterUrge" ... I can see why it's so legendary, with the lag and all.. Those awesome edits with races that can out jumpkick a jumpkicking based class... And those lovely husband/wife Team Dupes! When you know the Wife couldnt find her way out of Silvermere, but yet her Husband is a Priest and she gets power leveld by him! Why not just allow everyone with a wife have a dupe? It's the Same Idea. Like a Wife would know how to walk through Phoenix Feather, Alignment Quests, Boss Runs.. YEAH RIGHT. My girlfriend is going to play, She is going to be a Priest. She can only come to keys for 15 minutes a day, and she knows nothing. But I will be in charge of questing her, running her around, fixing her script, and leveling her character while She Heals me. We will be able to take out Bosses long before I could solo, and handle scripting spots I wouldnt be able to handle for many levels... "What's the difference if your scripting with a Friend" ... If My Friend 2000 Miles away Hangs up, I cant fix his script, log him on, or touch his keys. The Husband/Wife team can. It's complete and utter bullshit. WHY NOT ALLOW DUPES? Oh yeah, The lag.

About sysops playing on their own board it's kinda a tossup. Near the end of morbid when I was sysop'ing and not playing, people complained about there not being someone there all the time too. Really though, I can understand sysops playing their own board. You want to put up a board to have fun, not sit back and watch others have fun. You just gotta be fair about it. If you find the sysop not being fair, big deal. Pack up your bags and find another board. You didn't lose any money, you weren't physically hurt, so what. Report it so other people know (and can debate it) and move on.

1) Not all sysops cheat, and most sysops are old mud players, and that's why they play

2) Actually, I've seen boards go private to keep less than "fun" people out of the realms, people who do nothing but flame, sure there's other ways to deal with it, but that can get very tiresome.

I'm #4, and I'm way behind in exp. I play on my own board because I spent the time to edit it so much, why the hell not play on it? My board went private for 2 reasons. 1 so I could have a few people on who have been playin on there for awhile, who I could trust to report bugs so I could get everything right for the reset. I'll admit alot of things weren't fixed, but most of those were my fault from forgetting to re-fix them after reinstalling mud, and I've been fixing them when I have the time.



Most of the lag has been because I've downloading a bunch of shit lately, and while that's not the reason it's lagging, people have been downloading shit from me, and if I could remember where I stuck those movies, I'd move em so nobody could get em from me. That's my fault also.

The husband/wife team has been playing on my board for a long time, and obviously don't script together all the time, when one is #8 and the other is #12. You're ahead of one of them, why are you even worried about it? Are they attacking you? Is the priest keeping the lyricist alive while she's killing you? No. Don't worry about it.



So, if you're quitting, great, I really don't care. Go play somewhere else and see if the sysop there will tell you where someone is scripting, since I wouldn't tell you when you asked. You wanna accuse others of cheating? Take a look in the mirror, Miles.
