I am having this error crash the BBS during the latenight Cleanups (not forced events though)... It is screwing up the EPs and making rooms not sweep, nor items recharge Uses. I've also have been getting more reports from users about Internal errors. Does anyone know what the 'cc' is? Any info would help!

Ive done several offline recoveries, It has never once had to 'repair' the data files, and it has always been 100% successful... I am *guessing* that during the late night cleanup it repairs the data files nightly? Can't be good.

i meant offline recovery, my bad. have you tried forcing a cleanup? does it do it then too? see if you can see when during the cleanup it happens.

Ive narrowed it down to about exactly when it is crashing during the forced cleanup. It has to do with the ganghouses I believe, here are some of the edits I've done: I accidently UNLIMITED the Ganghouse deeds, then set them back to lim1, so there could be duplicates floating around. I blocked off ALL of the entrances to ganghouses. I used a ganghouse emblem as a template for 25 new items that were to be used as 'Vault' Keys. The vault keys did NOT work unless you were a gangleader. I don't know why that was because I removed any ganghouse affiliation when I created the item. The only thing I Noticed is that it had an 'Unknown' Value. I deleted that 'Unknown' Value.. and Ive been having the errors ever since. I also deleted the 25 new items I made from Ganghouse Emblems. ??? Help?

It was the Ganghouse, and Ganghouse shops. The shops were non-existant. I reccomend not messing with your ganghouses and get them to work as well as possible, you always have the option of blocking off the exits. I accidently deleted most of the components.

just keep in mind that is not set in stone. you could get an 'attempt to read from: cc' for anything. the cc is just a memory address, or file offset, or byte pointer, etc. you could get a 'cc' for anything.
