Xetox where in the US are you? Have you tried Canadian Auto wreckers.
try http://www.ralphsauto.com/ they're in Vancouver BC, they're prolly the best I have ever used. I found shit there for 76 Dodge Van (tough to find parts for), also found a rear motor, actuator switch, and window guide for a 89 pontiac 6000, all for under $150 cdn, Pontiac wanted $300 just for the motor.

Keep an eye out on ebay - you probably won't find that exact part but if you can find a seller that does a lot of other used parts, you might wanna email them and ask if they can dig up your window reg
Window regs are ALWAYS expensive, though... Also, do you just need the regulator or the motor as well? If they can be gotten separately you might be able to get just the one or the other.

How big is the part? I know when I need a small-ish part I just shove it in my pocket and buy a sun visor or some shit. ;) But I concur with barracuda, check online or Ebay - I bought a water pump for a 1988 Audi 5000CS for $50 through a site I found on Ebay, where the dealership wanted $450 for it.

In addition to that, I have a fake panel at the bottom of the toolbox (an ammo box) I bring in with me. I actually need to head out there soon for some disc brake swap parts (for my 70 'cuda). You KNOW I'm gonna come back with a fistful of trim pieces and stuff
But a window regulator's gonna be too big to sneak out (unless you have a fake hollow wooden leg, and even then only certain models are gonna fit there). :ehh: I suppose you could throw it over the back fence and come back for it later but that's kinda risky... I don't recommend it.

Yeah, I don't know about your "pick-a-part" but the one that I frequent has cameras looking for that toss-it-over maneuver. BTW, 'Cuda = NIIIICE.. Always been my #1 dream car, followed closely by the Acura NSX.

Yeah, the ones around here (San Fernando Valley) do, too. I don't, and never did, do the toss-over-the-fence thing myself, it's bad karma (pocket-size and under-toolbox-panel parts excluded or course).
You're in the 909, so you're not THAT far from here... if you like Mopars, you should check out the Spring and Fall Fling shows that are held out here, right off the 405 in the SFV:

Funny you mention Acura, I don't have an NSX but I do have an RSX-S in addition to the 'cuda, heh.
