Problem you are having and any other useful information:

To tell you the truth, I really don't care if I get nightmare running. I just want MM to work again. I installed it into my WGServ directory to try to add an item, but this totally screwed up WG. Whenever I try to run WGServer it says An unrecoverable error has occured: BTRIEVE OPEN ERROR 8020 ON FILE 'wgsmenu2.dat" This only happened when I installed nightmare. I also installed LJN if that makes a difference. Before I was getting some different errors, so I tried to do a restore file integrity thing in the offline utlities, and now I get this. Any ideas?

you are using the wrong version of NMR.

please use this link and make sure you get the latest version. (1.42)

the one you are using does not work with newer versions of MMUD.



BTW, excellent job using the template. (made this diagnosis very easy)

and you may need to re-install wg and mmud, im not sure exactly what would cause problems like that. (not wise to put ljn (which doesnt work on new mmud versions) or nmr in your wg directory.) NMR is very simple to use as long as you pay attention to what you are doing. follow the setup instructions and you shouldnt have any problems. if you have more problems hit me up on AIM @ mordathu or PM me here.
