this microsoft OS has a projected release for 2006, but there are alphas in operation, i have build 4029

shrug, doesn't look impressive. A skinned version of XP would be the same functionality of those screenshots. What's so great about it?

Longhorn doesn't even use the hierarchy like every other windows OS does. It uses a SQL database. It is supposed to be MUCH more stable then even xp/2000/2003. I dunno...its better ;)

yes, and in fact there is a longhorn theme that many people are using, along with the sidebar program on the right



but it's cooler nonetheless :P

Shrug, looks pretty ugly to me lol. Im using xp home. And its more stable than xp? Hell ive never had a problem with my xp and ive used it over a year.

What precisely is that supposed to mean though... SQL is just a query language... do you mean the OS can innately handle SQL queries, or what?
