Megamud Mapping Function?

I saw something mentioned about there being a way to automatically make a loop / path in megamud. I don't know if I'm just a crackhead and it was NMR, or if megamud is actually capable of doing this. Anyone know?

making a path is easy, it's the "record path" option under one of the menus

nah, nothing that will make a path automatically. There is one way to do it that's easier (for me) than having megamud record the path... Grab a map, make a text file with the route like this:
n
e
e
nw
.. etc..
Then import the path, I think it's import a mudwalk path. That's what I do. It's easier for me than recording a path.

Thing with recording a path like that, is you have to be able to walk the path at the same time....not a smart move if your a lvl 10 trying to record a custom rakshasha loop...

It's annoying as shit to have to walk the path with it. You gotta watch every damn thing you type, because it'l probably end up in the path, then you gotta go clean up... it's just a headache waiting to happen.

oh maybe you're talking about the auto-map...
press control-alt-m i think and it pulls up a map that shows where you go... but it's very stupid, it often loses itself and runs into itself....
but it's semi cool... maybe that's what you were talkin about?

sMegamud is stupid most of the time, I have 3 custom loops that I have created, they're all pretty simple & straight forward, yet Mega still seems to get lost. and it getting lost got me dead.
Fucking mega took me from a east to west loop in the Dying Field's onto Crystal lake and decided to fight the Kraken at level 63 with 1140 hps, I lasted 3 hits.
I never trust anything mega does.
