Upgrading from an edited version of 1.1m

Are there any things that need to be done before an upgrade from an edited version of 1.1m to 1.1n? i made rooms and stuff but their wcc numbers are high. but is there anything else i need to do before an upgrade?

Yea i know about backing up.. I run 2 backups at cleanup plus a hardcopy backup :) plus 2 seperate editing directorys and a test edit bbs on another machine not connected to my network... anything else :) ?
i mean will edits prevent the upgrade from not working properly? I heard there is some bugs in the 1.1n install anyways. Im not sure though. havent tried it yet.
