WGSCOLOR: Access Violation?

Weird.

Whenever I try to run WGSCOLOR, I get the following error in the event log.

Access Violation. Attempt to write to: 40b084

So I figured this may be an error from adding stuff, or something (playing dumb here).. so I backed up the MSGs and reinstalled, and got the same error out of the box.

Whats the cause of this? I get nothing in google or newsgroups.

sorry, meant to post a reply to this the other day but got sidetracked and then forgot. why are you trying to run WGSCOLOR? it crashes for me too, but i dont even know what the heck it is. are you trying to get into WGSDRAW??? for that open a command prompt window and goto your wgserv dir and then type "wgsdraw filename.ans". if you just run wgsdraw itself it wont do anything and you'll have to end task it to get out. if you're just trying to edit textblocks, go to start --> programs --> worldgroup server --> utilities --> edit textblocks.

WGSCOLOR changes text blocks from one color to another.

I.e. 'Change all CYAN text blocks to Lt. Gray", etc.

I NEED this program. Can anyone help me out??

Damn the man.

It worked when I had MajorBBS v6 something or another.. when it was all DOS based.

No one knows a fix?
