Ok heres the specs:
Abit KD7 (KT400)
Onboard VIA 6103 Rhine 10/100
Radeon 8500le 64mb
512megs Corasir PC3200
Maxtor 40gig 7200rpm Drive
XP 2700+ (1.8ghz)
U.S. Robotics Fax Winmodem
Heres the deal: I installed everything originally on Windows XP Pro edition and all devices including the modem seemed to install ok. But when i go into Control Panel to do a self diagnostic on the Winmodem it claims its "Not Functional" so i decided to try Win2k instead, same result. I have all the latest drivers for it and the hardware is present but its like its been disabled.
Also to note, It lists the devices in a listing prior to windows starting up, and it shows the device as not having an IRQ. Any ideas would be nice, sarcastic comments are unwelcome however. :hmm:
I Tried the following already:
Switched from ACPI to Standard PC.
Update drivers.
Switch OS.
Switch to a different PCI Slot.
Put it into a different PC (worked).
Updated my Hyperion 4in1 drivers.
Downloaded Service Packs.
