STILL messing up.. [Archive] - ForumsHQ

Nightmare is still messing up Syn..Record Manager Inactive..
That's not all, either..today, it messed up 3 times. All 3 times, I didn't load it up til about 30 mins AFTER wg had initialized the database update.
The weird thing is..it worked to start. It just lagged my computer like a bitch, froze my computer twice...last time it let me work with it for a while, it would take about 3 minutes to open dat editors, and of course would lag my pc and BBS extremely bad..I made the mistake of trying to load up the spell editor and switched from NMR to Mega while waiting (cuz like I said, it was taking about 3 minutes..) and couldn't get back, NMR was completely froze, my computer was half-froze, I had to control-alt-delete out.
The messed up part is, the dats it was loading/messed up on aren't even used by the bbs..they're a copy of the BBS's dats in their own separate directory...
This is all right after I restarted my computer, too..it was lagging my computer bad like described above before the restart, and gave me the Record Manager Inactive..which is part of the reason I decided to restart the PC (so I could use NMR again..either that or wait til tomorrow..) And I made sure to let the database update finish, I had my computer completely offline while WG loaded and my char sat in HOD for about 30-45 minutes. Got both messages, 'MajorMUD Initialized' and 'MajorMUD Notice'..
Can't figure out what I'm doing wrong, but the problem is persistant and aggrivating the piss outa me, cuz it never did this before until recently.. :( :nope: :wahh: :ehh: :hmm:
