Halo Tournament

Yeah, I am in that Penny Arcade Halo tournament, amateur rank. This will be my first Halo tournament, so I am not too sure of what to expect, gameplay-wise or other. Like, is it a race to finish a level vs 2 other 4 man teams, is it straigh team deathmatch or what?
