We have just killed Zanthus and would like to come back. For those of you who are proficient with NMR and text blocks, I pose the following questions.
a) Can I "enter portal" from Dark Mage to get back to him if I didn't finish the mod9 quest (didn't come back to Grey Lord)?
b) Can I do "a" but with a different alignment?
c) Or can I finish the quest, then change my alignment and be able to get back to Zanthus?

Anyone? Anyone? So many of you constantly use NMR. Can someone please trace the text blocks to see what the restrictions are on entering the portal from Dark Mage to Zanthus?

as far as I know you can get to zanth byt going through the portal via the dark mage even AFTER you complete the quest (talkin to grey and everything) you have a small chance of showing up near zanth so its a large loop process till you finally able to spawn him. when you enter in the portal there is a flag that goes off on occasion that spawns him.
I dont know about alignments but give it a whirl. I have a level 85 mage that can go through the dark mage and hit zanth when he wants its just a pain in the ass to do so I dont.
I hope that helps somewhat. I dont have nightmare in front of me so I cant give you exact dats sorry. You CAN do it at any high level and even after you complete the neutral quest. THAT I know. Also I think its something like a 10% chance youll actually get teleported to his area. its a low number which makes it such a pain in the ass.
