I hear a few of you mentioning having it...



Any decent? How stable is it? What do you do with it? What does it have over 2k/XP? Would you recommend or not?

At this stage i wouldnt recommend any windows OS thats new until the first service pack comes out.

nod, I didn't touch XP til SP2, but that was involuntary. I'd wait til some decent support gets drawn up for it.

2k3 is badass.... it's definitely worth it.



i like the features, i like how it can be modded and look exactly like xp for you xp sissies.... but still have all of the features of 2k3. msfn.org has some nice info on it



problem is not all xp software is compatible, but that's ok.... cuz the crap not compatible isn't worth running anyway. there's nothing that i run on a day-to-day basis that can't be run on 2k3...



so yeah it's worth it...

It's cool. I'm not looking to move to it right this minute anyway -- just wanted to know whether or not I should even bother looking at it as a viable replacement for XP/2k.



Oh, and for everyone else, I'm well aware of how to wait for SPs. I'm more concerned with usability. Stability is something they should have locked down...the only thing the SPs (should) do it tighten everything up and make it a bit more secure, too.
