hehe yeah, its always to a degree random when you enter a sector if you see the planets or not in NGS games, also unless the code has changed from the last version I played you can see the planets in a sector scan, irrespective of their size compared to yours.
That may be different now, I'd have to set up a game and test it out to be 100% sure (<<<<

the regen timer is broken again. What gives with it. why does it keep breaking.

I'm not entirely sure. I was adding some kabal characters last week, and when I logged back in, it was broke. It's been giving a different error message than the last time it broke, and I haven't been able to figure out why it's broken. I've PMed AdmiralAcid to see if he can fix it at root level. Right now, its a little beyond my access levels.
