Suggestions? Room scripting gremlins with a mage for around 6.3 mil an hour on a 3x..brings mages exp rate up 3 mil, mine down 300 or 400k from giant fort..any suggestions? (Have my eye on the skull-capped and death shroud from Zanthus)

Lose the mage. That will help your exp. :D

yeah get rid of the mage asap, and solo scripting there is the best for exp you'll get in majormud

IMHO death shroud would be better for the mage.. keep the AC with the blue dragon tunic. Skull-capped would be your best bet with the staff I guess. The loss of 3/0 AC won't hurt real bad. Even if it does, the extra mana will more then make up for it I suppose :). Your stats are near perfect. I guess I would have similar stats at that level with that char. It's all based on preference. I prefer to have more Willpower then Intellect at all times because MR is based on Willpower. Wis\Int both have the same effects on your mana tick, etc. On your guy, more Int means more picklocks, more Wis means more MR. I take the MR especially if I'm going into places where they attack with magic. At those levels, you're MR gets so high it doesn't really matter much anyway. Like I said, it's all a matter of preference.

I know death shroud is a tad low as far as AC..but damn.

dont ditch the mage, :) I bet you all wouldn't say such nonsense if i had esto, or hellstorm, no would you? No, I don't think so...

I never said ditch the mage ;) I'm actually about to try out a new little loop on some scripting advice I've received for dying fields..we'll see how that goes.

Death Shroud is bad for a few reasons:



A) You can't cast mend on yourself with it equipped.



This is bad because you will lose AC and probably get hit more.



B) -50 HP Regen



You have lower AC, and can't be healed, plus you rest your HPs back slower.



Going evil for skull-capped and death shroud may also mess up your level 50 alignment spells. I've always played neutral druids to high levels. They are my fav. Only advantage evil spells have are 2 kick ass PVP spells (dark plague and spore cloud I THINK). I say stay with the blue dragon tunic and copperwood staff unless you can get an op to change your alignment back and forth to do some testing.

Actually you CAN cast mend on yourself. You can't cast any of the priestly spells -- mihe, mahe, grhe, etc.
