I believe the guy who made LORD allowed the web port.. I could be wrong tho.. It's been a while since I first saw it.

Legend of the Green Dragon
By Eric Stevens
LoGD version 0.9.5
MightyE tells you, "Legend of the Green Dragon is my remake of the classic BBS Door game, Legend of the Red Dragon (aka LoRD) by Seth Able Robinson.
"LoRD is now owned by Gameport http://www.gameport.com/bbs/lord.html, and they retain exclusive rights to the LoRD name and game. That's why all content in Legend of the Green Dragon is new, with only a very few nods to the original game, such as the buxom barmaid, Violet, and the handsome bard, Seth.

"LOGD" just doesn't sound as good as "LORD" or "T-LORD"
:P
doesn't have that ring to it :P

i haven't seen anything indicating Metro was persuing a web-based lord... where'd you hear that?
The current LORD author (Michael Presslar, he's contracted thru metro to work on LORD, but isn't personally affiliated/employed by metro) is working on a Win32 door port... but that's still a doorgame, not a web game...
Metro made a web/flash port of Farwest Trivia, but it's ugly and few people seem to pay/play. I got the impression they weren't doing more web games anytime soon. Judging from how awful the Flash Farwest looks, I doubt they even have the skills :P

Does anyone thing metro ever has a chance of making a visual game? One you watch as opposed to read, I'm not saying something serious like EQ, but if metro is doing as bad as everyone says, why not take it into a new media? Obviouslly the world has spoken, and visual is in, and text is out...(not for us old skoolers)
