what happened?

i know you had trouble in school ray, but see the word dual there? that means 2 processors. but anyways it runs fast as hell, cpu is never even above 10% with everything going :)

and to comment on it being down:

the school totally shut off incoming connections so i had to find an alternate location for the machine. sorry it took so long but i dont have high speed internet at home

that's nice, get a dual.... but what you fail to realize is that they're still 450 mhz man... that's 1998 technology. SLOW

do WG/MUD run multi-threaded processes? If not, dual cpu's aren't gonna be of much use. Except you should be able to multi-task.

ray's question was about the processors being to slow for windows, not wg. i had wg and windows 2000 running fine on a pentium 200mhz actually. windows itself has support for 2 processors, and the speed increase is very noticable. the whole system runs very fast and smoothly so leave my poor 1998 processors out of this :)
