I have played for 5 minutes or so, and rushed over here to post it so you guys can check it out. One of the operators helped me out with some spells and advice on the combat system, which is unique to any text RPG I've seen. Enuf plugging someone else's crap hehe.. Go check it out for yourself..

Ok, so you can enter the game like 6 times or something before you have to register, and from what I understood before I closed the program, registration is $4 a month. I don't want to pay for a text-based game, so I'm not going to bother. But still check it out, some of you might like it enough to pay for it, text or not.

Why does a text-based RPG need a special game client to play? That's kinda weird...



Out of curiousity, what's unique about the combat system? (and is it unique in a good way or a bad way?)

Yeah, it is kind of strange that they'd need a client for it, but basically it's to allow you to use your mouse for attacking and such. The combat is a little more in depth than just plain attacking. It's not as fancy as I might have made it sound. You have to advance on a creature before you can attack it, and the annoying part is you have to attack each round, after the unbalanced timer goes down. So you have to type "a" after the timer each time, or click the attack button. I'd still give it a chance, though, if it was free..
