Anyone know how to get that to turn off? It's damn annoying. It happens everytime I type something with one of my mega's, but not the other...so it's gotta be a mud setting.

everytime I type on one of my characters, instead of printing what I said it says Well spoken...

Im taking a guess here.. but,"Well spoken" reminds me of global chat.. check your ;'s, ='s, and /'s ect.

I severly doubt its megamud, or even majormud related unless theres a new release since I've played. :)

It's a majormud setting. Type "set response" and you'll go back to normal mode.



That setting has always been in the game, it's just little-known and I don't even think the help files mention it. For some reason, your one mega thinks it's supposed to enable it or something.

i always got it in premod-1 when id fuck up on hexing... its been in the game forever
