I am trying to display the users IP in the FUG globals pack. I know there is a text variable to place there, but I don't remember what it is. Anyone remember?

Have you tried doing a search in WGs text block editor?

Yeah, i'm not talking about the text block, it is a variable you insert into the text block

FU should come with some kind of documentation on that.

It is not a FU specific variable if I remember correctly, it is a WG one but it is not listed in the docs anywhere that I have been able to find.

it works with control. i haven't seen a way to do it with FU but if you install globals, you can set their ip to one of their address or phone number and it's extremely easy to do a dupe check that way

Displaying the users ip in fuglobals is a very bad idea. I know I wouldnt play there.

Not planning on putting it where general users can see it, only for Sysop access. Need to do it for dupe checking :)

Ray has plenty of experience with dupes, dontcha Ray... ;)

Dude, just get control. You can monitor IPs with that. I don't know the companies web site off hand, but if someone else does just shoot him an IM with the addy.
