Noob question on setting up WG

This is gonna sound lame, but I haven't set a bbs up since 95 and everything was strictly dial-up. No telnet experience whatsoever.
Anywayz, onto the humiliation, running WG 3.30 with MM 1.11m, the board is up and running but I need to get the server on the internet, past my firewall and home network so users can telnet in. I'm using a cable connection, that does NOT have a static IP. Any help or suggestions on websites with the info would be a GREAT help.

well, setting up the firewall to allow access on port 23 should be easy, and your router (assuming you have one) shouldn't be too hard to set port forwarding on. Then just go to dyndns.org or something similar and get a free domain hostname. Whenever your cable modem's IP address changes you'll have to log in and change the dyndns IP, but that's about all the maintenence it takes.

Figured everything out, also found out Netgear routers suck arse. Everything was setup just fine, just had to keep re-setting it up until the router finally took it. weirdness. Now the router has a tendancy to just, shut off, every now and then. I wouldn't recomend using a Netgear 814m, stick with the linksys, they install and work like a champ. l8er.
