And while im in the forum of questions, does anyone know the drop rate of a griffon shield? Still keep raping the damn spectral knight and ending up empty handed when i search for it in the next room.

Griffon Shield is 0% drop rate if im not mistaken. Has to be edited.

Griffon shield doesn't drop from spectral knight, never has..whoever told ya, lied. =P



What version of mud? You'll most likely find it 1 room south of the western door on the slums side. (Not like you can go south on the other side......heh)



Generally, it'll be sitting on the ground and not hidden even if cleanup runs, until it's picked up.

Depending on your version, the griffon shield will be gettable, and can be picked up from south of the slums door, or above the spectral knight. Earlier versions the shield is not gettable, later versions, it's gettable and lim-1. Nothing drops it, it's simply there, like a quest weapon.

just get a spiked shield, it hits monsters back

grif has more ac, is good only so it will do no evil guy any use, weights much less considering im already pushin a 4000 enc total of my eq for lvl 35, and doesn't take away from my perception or stealth. Plus im fuckin bored:)

spiked shield sucks unless yer level 1-9..heh.
