What the hell is a corprate planet (other than the basic meaning of corprate) what does it do and so on?

when you're in an alliance, corporate planets can be accessed by all alliance members.

Corp planets allow your other alliance team members to put energy, fighters or torps on a planet for you. Also, they can take ore, goods, or organics from your planet, say, to help build a base on a new planet.



They cannot move credits though.



Good part - planet under attack ? They can help reinforce and defend it.



Bad part - If one of your team members turns traitor on you, they can remove all the fighters, torps and energy from your planet, making it easy to take.



Moral of story. Better trust your alliance !!
