Before now, when editing..I didn't have to hit the save button for anything really...I could edit, exit, compile and be done..but now, if I don't hit the save button after each edit, it loses all of what I edited up until the last time I hit save.. :(

it seems to work for me, can anyone else reproduce it? try shops/items/monsters/rooms etc by changing something, clicking on the next record (or clicking next) and then going back to the first record and see if it saved your change without hitting save.

but it's weird..like i could change it, exit out of the dat editor, go back in and it was still changed..compile an update and update the bbs, then close nmr..when i notice it didnt change, i look back in nmr and its back normal.>



like monster regen times syn..remember last night when I hand edited them and they went back? Same thing..

it's sorta impossible if it's written in the dats and you compile an update for them to switch back. the update compiling doesn't read specific fields and write specific fields... it actually reads the whole raw data record and writes it to the update file. so it's not like i could be missing a field or something. especially since you say you can close nmr and go in and it's correct. it couldn't be something like having the wrong call letters or wrong directory selected right?

dun think so..after i hand edited them all to 1 hour and compiled and checked regen time on guardian golem and saw days, i went back in w/ that mod you gave me and just used the uni to change it..worked like a charm..it's weird.
