I don't know if everyone has this problem or not, but I've never had it until I got v1.1. Actually 2 things. 1, which I already reported to you Syn, I can't export to a text file. and 2: I can't open the damn thing twice. I used to be able to open it as many times as I wanted while the board was running, now I can only open it once. Every time after that I get Form_Load, BOPEN blah blah, Record Manager Inactive (20) Continue loading? and I get the error for every dat.





Come to think of it, I put in NMR v1.1 and MM v1.11M at the same time, so maybe the M dats are screwin with it. i dunno... something worth checking into?

i can open it as many time as i wish, with the bbs loaded too (after the update file has completed of course).

shrug, i never do, and it's untested as far as settings go. cause both NMRs would read from the same settings file unless installed in different directories (would only be an issue if you weren't working on the same dats with each). but i could see a use to have two open if, for one, you had a small resolution, but moreso, if you wanted to work on like two rooms, two monsters, etc at the same time.

I meant if I opened it once, did some work. Closed it, opened it back up later to do some more work. It doesnt want to cooperate.

Dx - eh? What version you have, 1.0 or 1.1?

1.1 doofus, read my original message. :) syn - it sounds like you're talkin about having 2 nmr's open at once. that's not at all what i'm talkin about. i open it.. do some work, compile, put the update in. wait until update completes... a couple hours later open it up to do more work, and it won't cooperate. :(

i dunno man, i open it time and time again to edit a user or whatnot with the bbs loaded. does it stop working when you just close it and open it right away, or only when you wait awhile, or only after you compile an update, ... other?

Well I just had it open, and closed it. Waited 10 minutes, and tried to open it... won't work. I didn't compile an update when it opened... I didn't edit anything, I was just looking at something. Before it did this after compiling. It seems to not be prejudice about when it's going to do it. It just does it, and it pisses me off. I have to shut down to do any editing now.
